When Amazon Bots Attack
Amazon is a brilliant place to sell - but as every seller eventually discovers, things don’t always run smoothly. One small change, one misunderstood detail, and the bots can swoop in faster than you can say “policy violation.”
In my case, switching from an individual to a limited company account triggered an unexpected suspension. Legally, everything was fine - but Amazon’s system wanted to double-check that I wasn’t a scammer.
It was stressful, to say the least. My account was deactivated for two weeks while I proved my legitimacy and waited for approval.
Saved by Suspension Safeguard
Thankfully, I had an ace up my sleeve: Buy Bot Pro’s Suspension Safeguard. It’s an insurance add-on that provides expert help if your account is suspended. Their team jumped straight in, reviewed my case, and wrote a professional Plan of Action that was miles better than anything I could’ve produced myself.
They know exactly what Amazon wants to see - and more importantly, what not to say. With their help, my account was reinstated, and I even got an apology from Amazon (a rare event indeed!).
Lesson learned: peace of mind is priceless when your entire business depends on a single platform.
Don’t Keep All Your Eggs in One Basket
That experience also pushed me to diversify - adding more listings to eBay so I wasn’t completely dependent on Amazon. Even a small secondary income stream can act as a safety net.
Most sellers will face some kind of policy warning or violation eventually, from minor listing tweaks to full account holds. The key is to stay proactive and spot trouble before it escalates.
My Daily Amazon Account Check
It takes just a few minutes each morning to check your account health - and it’s one of the best habits you can build. Here’s my daily routine:
Performance → Account Health - Scan for new alerts under Customer Service Performance, Policy Compliance, and Delivery Performance.

Bottom-Right Corner → Product Compliance Requests - Check for new requests and note any submission deadlines.

Performance → Voice of the Customer - Watch for products flagged as “Very Poor.” Too many low ratings can strand listings quickly.

Check Payouts - I now disperse my Amazon funds daily to avoid unnecessary hold-ups.

Two minutes a day can save you from days of panic later.
TL;DR (Too Long; Didn’t Read)
What’s a TL;DR?It’s a quick-read summary for busy sellers and voice-search users - a fast way to get the key points of a post without scrolling through the whole thing.
Summary:This post shares my personal routine for keeping an Amazon seller account healthy - and the hard-earned lesson I learned after a suspension scare. In short: check your account health every day, diversify your income, and consider tools like Buy Bot Pro’s Suspension Safeguard for extra protection.
