Cindy Jackson is the founder of Mrs Prime and an active Amazon seller. She has optimised hundreds of Amazon listings across health, beauty, and food categories on UK, European, and US marketplaces. She writes about listing optimisation, A+ Content, and the connected thinking that turns underperforming listings around.

I started selling on Amazon in 2020. Not because I had a grand plan - but because I had a product I believed in and a marketplace that seemed like the obvious place to sell it.

What I did not have was any idea how much the listing itself would matter.

My early listings looked fine. Professional enough. Decent images. Keywords in the right places. But sales were inconsistent, and I could never quite work out why. So I did what most sellers do - I tweaked things. Changed a title here, swapped an image there, added more keywords everywhere. And waited.

Most of those changes made no difference at all.

It took months of testing, reading, and paying close attention before the pattern became clear. The problem was never one thing. It was the disconnect between different parts of the listing - the words pulling in one direction, the images suggesting another, and the search strategy not quite matching either. Each element was fine on its own. Together, they were quietly undermining each other.

That insight changed everything for me. I stopped thinking about listings as a collection of separate pieces and started thinking about them as a connected system. I called it the Content Triangle - content, creative, and visibility working together. When all three are aligned, listings perform. When they are not, they stall.

From seller to specialist

I have sold across health and wellness, beauty and personal care, and food categories on Amazon UK, Europe, and the US. I have used Brand Registry, A+ Content, Premium A+ Content, Brand Story, Amazon advertising, and FBA first-hand - not as a consultant reading documentation, but as a seller with real products and real money on the line.

That hands-on experience is what led to Mrs Prime. I kept meeting other sellers who were stuck in the same cycle I had been in - making isolated changes and hoping something would shift. They did not need another how-to guide. They needed someone who could look at their listing as a whole system and show them where the disconnect was.

Today I lead a small, specialist team at Mrs Prime. We have optimised hundreds of Amazon listings across every category and seller size - from solo sellers launching their first product to established brands managing large catalogues. Every project starts the same way: looking at the full picture before touching a single word or image.

What I write about

Mrs Prime Unpacked is where I share the patterns, insights, and practical thinking that come from working with Amazon listings every day. I write about listing optimisation, A+ Content, Amazon's AI systems like Rufus, conversion strategy, and the common mistakes that quietly hold sellers back.

Everything I publish comes from direct experience - either my own selling or the hundreds of listings I have worked on for clients. If I have not seen it first-hand, I do not write about it.

I also still sell on Amazon myself. That matters, because the platform changes constantly. Reading about those changes is one thing. Feeling them in your own sales data is something else entirely.

My approach

If you are an Amazon seller and something about your listing is not quite working, I have probably seen the pattern before. A Discovery Call is the simplest way to find out what is going on.

" Amazon listings rarely fail because one element is wrong. They stall when the words, the visuals, and the search signals stop reinforcing each other.

My job is to find that disconnect and fix it properly - so the whole listing works together."
